Readiday

07:00 · every morning

Know if you're ready before you start.

Readiday reads your watch, sleep and health data, scores how well you've recovered, and adjusts your workout schedule to match. Running, riding, the gym, classes or a walk: today's session fits how you've recovered, and it lands on your watch. Bigger changes wait for your approval.

How it works

The morning, sorted before you wake.

Your plan is written once. Readiday keeps it honest every day with your own data.

  1. Your body reports in

Sleep, heart rate and HRV come from your watch and your bed. Weight and blood pressure come in from your scales and cuff.

  2. Readiness is scored

Compared with your own normal, not a population average. A short note explains the score in plain language.

  3. Today is adjusted

A hard session might become an easy one, or heavy lifting might become mobility. Missed sessions get rescheduled within the recovery rules.

  4. It's on your wrist

The adjusted workout is already on your Garmin, with heart-rate targets, sets, reps and weights.

Readiness

Green, amber or red.

One honest call each morning, with the numbers behind it if you want them.

Green

Go as planned.

You've recovered. Today's quality session or heavy lift stays exactly as written.

Amber

Keep moving, ease off.

The intensity comes down. Intervals become steady work, and a long session gets shorter. The hard work moves to a day you can absorb it.

Red

Recover first.

Rest or mobility instead. The week reshuffles so nothing important is lost.

On your watch

Not just another app to check.

Sessions arrive as structured Garmin workouts, so the watch guides you through them.

  • 01

    Structured cardio

Intervals, hills and easy sessions with heart-rate alerts that keep easy days easy. Runs today; rides and other cardio next.

  • 02

    Real strength workouts

Every exercise, set, rep, rest and target weight. Weights follow lighter weeks and coach adjustments.

  • 03

    Rest that sticks

Rest days and recovery spacing are rules the coach can't break, even when it reschedules.

You stay in charge

Your plan. Your words.

Away on Saturday? Calf feeling tight? Tap the mic and say so. The coach reworks the week around it, keeping your recovery rules, and shows you the change before anything moves. Each Sunday it also suggests changes from your data. Nothing bigger than a day happens until you tap Approve.

You · Thu 18:20

"I'm away Saturday. Can you move the long run?"

Moved your 24 km long run to Sunday and Friday's heavy legs to Thursday, so there are still 48 hours between them.

What you need

A watch you sleep in.

Readiday works from what your watch records overnight, so the one real requirement is wearing it to bed.

  • 01

    An iPhone

Readiday is an iPhone app. Android isn't supported yet.

  • 02

    A Garmin watch, worn overnight

One that records overnight HRV and sleep, such as a recent Forerunner, Fenix, Epix, Venu or Instinct, and a Garmin Connect account. Apple Watch support is coming.

  • 03

    A goal, or just consistency

An event date, getting fitter, getting stronger or staying healthy for the long run. Whatever mix of training you do, with gym, dumbbells or bodyweight.

  • 04

    Optional extras

Eight Sleep for in-bed sleep data, Withings for blood pressure. No other accounts needed: Readiday sends your sessions to the watch itself.
